Situated on the south of Loch Baghasdail (Lochboisdale) at Ceann a Deas.  Well sheltered by the surrounding hills and with a magnificent view.

A yacht is moored in the quiet waters of Loch Aineort about 10 miles from Lochboisdale. 

Much of the land in the central areas of South Uist is moorland and very difficult to walk over without making large detours around lochs like this one.
